അനുരാഗമെന്തെന്നു ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു
അതിനുള്ള വേദന ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു
അന്നു നമ്മള് കണ്ടതില്പിന്നെ
ആത്മാവിലാനന്ദം ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു
ആശ തന് ദാഹവും ഞാനറിഞ്ഞു
ഓര്മ്മകള് തന് തേന്മുള്ളുകള്
ഓരോ നിനവിലും മൂടിടുന്നു
ഓരോ നിമിഷവും നീറുന്നു ഞാന്
തീരാത്ത ചിന്തയില് വേവുന്നു ഞാന്
കണ്ണുനീരിന് പെരുമഴയാല്
കാണും കിനാവുകള് മാഞ്ഞിടുന്നു
വീണയില് ഗദ്ഗദം പൊന്തിടുന്നു
വിരഹത്തിന് ഭാരം ചുമന്നിടുന്നു
