Dear Indians and the People of the World,

This post is a plea for help for the people of kerala facing the worst rains the state has ever seen, claiming lives, displacing people out of their house and into makeshift relief camps and leaving the rest stranded on roof tops clinging to life as you read this article. Without much embellishments, we are putting down the most recent updates to bring to you the very dire situation Kerala is in and to emphasize how significant even the smallest help would be.

Kerala has received almost triple of rain in the past 30 days. AMD the is forecasted to receive the same or even worse weather up until this Sunday – 19Aug 2018. ( dates and details needs to be clarified). All 14 districts currently under red alert with severe and continuous floods and landslides.

Causality at almost 200 within last 8 days. All 55 dams in the state opened together for the first time in history. More than hundred and fifty thousand people currently placed in relief camps. Thousands of homes washed away, submerged and destroyed in the flood water and land slides. Hundreds stranded on roof tops awaiting to be rescued as their homes are engulfed by the water. Many hundreds of missing cases. Airports shutdown for another 10 days and railway transportation suspended indefinitely.

Words are falling short to describe the horrors as they are unfolding in the tiny but Beautiful land of ours.. In this humbling moment where nature is proving the magnanimity of its power, we are appealing to the power of humanity that dwells within us. Help in any form will be a godsend at this point for everybody suffering in Kerala, be it good or in monetary form..

The smallest of help will provide a meal to a starving child, warmth to the elderly out in the open and a chance to start a new life to people who have lost their all..

It is a given that financial scams can be at large to take advantage of the situation. Hence, we are presenting our authenticity verified and certified by the CMs office for your reference.
